Re: “Denver Public Schools looks to better integrate schools through “enrollment zones”,’ ” June 13 news story.
It is great news that Chris Gibbons, CEO of STRIVE network, sees enrollment zones as an opportunity for district-run and charter schools to abide by the same rules. I suggest he take the first step and increase the license requirements of the teachers in the STRIVE schools to match those of district-run schools. It is important that all students attending Denver public schools have equally qualified teachers.
