Riders on day three of Ride The Rockies were treated to a literal Mt. Olympus-sized day of uphills, twists and turns from Hotchkiss through the Black Canyon on to Gunnison. The morning was a challenge, with miles of non-trivial headwinds coupled with an intermittent drizzle.

The two ride a custom tandem — inspired by another father-son duo Jason saw riding a tandem on Ride The Rockies two years ago. What’s Logan’s favorite part of the ride? “The downhills,” Logan said.
