Denver police are searching for a suspect vehicle in a hit-and-run crash that left a bicyclist seriously injured Sunday afternoon just east of downtown.
The collision happened at about 4:30 p.m. near the intersection of 16th Avenue and Ogden Street.
Authorities say they now are searching for a red Chevrolet Sonic with license plate 795-OMJ. Police say the vehicle will have damage to its hood and windshield.
Officials did not release further information on the hit-and-run, including any information on the condition of the bicyclist. The cyclist was in stable condition, police said Sunday after the accident.
Investigators ask anyone who sees the vehicle to call 720-913-2000 .
