Entrepreneur got fed up with the disproportionate number of women investing in tech companies. So she started the to even out the ranks of angel investors.
The bootcamp is open to all women of a certain income level, to abide by U.S. accredited-investor laws. The minimum income is $200,000 income, or a $300,000 joint-income shared with a spouse, or $1 million net worth. Of course, Pipeline wants women who are also interested in a group-learning model and are passionate about social entrepreneurship. Interested investors can apply on.
There’s a $4,500 fee to attend, plus a time commitment of two full days a month for six months. At the end of the program, the fellows get to listen to pitches from women-led companies. Fellows must each pony up $5,000 to invest in a women-led social venture at the end of the program (here are ).
