Denver police released a sketch Tuesday of a suspect wanted in connection with a home invasion and sex assault last week in the northeast part of the city.

Authorities say the suspect broke into a home near East Pensacola and Randolph places on June 15. Officers responded to the area but the suspect fled.

“The investigation disclosed that once the suspect made entry into the residence, he sexually assaulted the victim and a family member called police,” police said in a news release.

Police say the suspect is as a black male who is about 5-feet 8-inches tall with a thin build. Investigators believe he is between 16- and 20-years-old.
