Comedy Central will give Jon Stewart a month-long with a binge opportunity the network is calling #jonvoyage. (It’s a lousy hashtag but a fitting idea for a sendoff).
A marathon of “The Daily Show” episodes, dating to Stewart’s debut in January 1999, will begin on Friday, June 26, (locally at 10 a.m.) and run through the night of his last show on Thursday, August 6 (locally 5:17 p.m.).
The episodes will be available Via and the Comedy Central App.
Additionally, to celebrate Stewart’s phenomenal, culture-shifting 16-year run, the network will present an original one-hour special on Aug. 2, written and produced by the show’s staff and hosted by correspondents Jordan Klepper, Hasan Minhaj and Jessica Williams from “The Best F&#ing News Team Ever!”
Successor start date is Sept. 28.
