Fire crews in Denver are battling a house blaze Thursday morning in the southwest part of the city.

The blaze ignited at about 7:15 a.m. on the 1300 block of South Navajo Street.

Images from a television news helicopter showed heavy smoke pouring from the area.

When firefighters arrived at the home, heavy flames were shooting from the structure, according to Captain Greg Pixley, a spokesman for the Denver Fire Department. Pixley said there were no reports of injuries in the fire.

The main body of the blaze has been extinguished, Pixley said.
