1 Advancing from doughnuts to shoes. On June 16, Denver police responded to 7-Eleven, 820 16th St., after a man stole a doughnut and threw it against the window. Employees said the suspect took the doughnut without paying. When confronted, he exclaimed that the doughnuts would be thrown out anyway. The suspect was caught when it was reported he began throwing shoes at a store nearby.

2 Sticking up for girlfriend. A man was arrested on June 18 after he broke windows, threw watermelons and kicked over plants at Whole Foods, 900 E. 11th Ave. The man’s girlfriend worked there and he believed management was mistreating her. The suspect had also caused a disturbance at the store the week prior and was told he could not return.

3 Man steals USB cable. On June 19, a man was arrested after he was seen stealing a USB cable from Walmart, 7800 Smith Road. The man paid for other items, but concealed the USB cable in a bag. Denver police believe that he gave them a false name.

4 Suspect breaks knife on cabinet. Denver police responded to a report of a suspect with a knife on June 21 in the 1800 block of East Bruce Randolph Avenue. The suspect was involved in a domestic dispute and had been choking his wife. He then struck a cabinet with his knife, breaking the knife.

5 Disturbance at Coors Field. On June 23, a man was arrested at Coors Field, 2001 Blake St., after causing a disturbance at a baseball game and pushing an officer. Officers responded to the disturbance and asked the suspect to leave several times.
