Pins and needles

Head to Douglas County for the second annual Rocky Mountain Quilt, Craft & Sewing Festival happening July 9-11. Billed as “creative, colorful and cool,” the three-day festival offers quilting, sewing and embroidery machines along with vendors showcasing scrapbooking, needle-art, knitting and rubber stamping supplies. Demonstrations, classes and workshops are also included. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. July 9-10 and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 11.
