Aurora Police is asking for the public’s help in locating a woman who allegedly shoplifted from a Target store, then escaped with a handcuff on her wrist after biting a security guard.
The incident occurred on June 23 at 9:15 p.m. at a Target located at 14220 E. Ellsworth Ave. The woman was contacted by the store’s Loss Prevention Staff; officials said the suspect resisted arrest and bit the officer. Leaving the store with the handcuff on her wrist, she was seen leaving the area in a black vehicle with no license plates.
