Through Sunday: The Colorado Burlesque Festival, which began Thursday and runs through Sunday, has always been notable for the depth of talent it brings to the stage. But for its sixth outing, the fest is presenting homegrown headliner Midnite Martini, who last year was crowned Miss Exotic World in Las Vegas. Other headliners include Kitten N’ Lou (Seattle and New York City), Russell Bruner (Portland, Ore.) and Tiffany Carter (Las Vegas), but fans of the alluring, tongue-in-cheek art form should also check out Matt Finish, the reigning King of Boylesque. Showcases, workshops and mixers take place around downtown, including at Lannie’s Clocktower Cabaret and the Paramount Theatre. $20-$60. Visit for the full schedule.
