Hobby Lobby (Lewis Geyer, Times-Call)
Re: “Hobby Lobby’s view of America,” July 8 letter to the editor.
If all of the words of our Founding Fathers that were mentioned in the excellent Hobby Lobby ad on July 5 are outdated — as Michael Patrick Eltrich implies — then maybe the Constitution, Bill of Rights, and Declaration of Independence are outdated as well. Maybe the newly educated atheistic society would like to cancel them out and rewrite them.
I would love to hear more of what these people perceive to think our country should be founded on. God created the world and everything and everybody in it, and I suggest that He can take it back any time that He feels it necessary.
Everyone thinks they know better and are better than anyone or any higher power these days. I truly feel sorry for them because they might have a surprise coming. I liked the country much better before it became evil, hateful and violent.
