Jeffco United for Action gets nearly $44k in contributions, financial report shows

The group behind the from Jefferson County Public Schools filed a financial report Tuesday showing a large number of small contributions.

The nearly 600 contributions for Jeffco United for Action over its first 11 days totaled $43,544 .

The two largest contributions, each of $1,000, came from and Cecelia Lange, a retired Arvada resident.

Jeffco United received approval to start circulating recall petitions last week.

A handful of small contributions came from people outside of Colorado.

In the same report, the group reported having spent a little more than $5,000 of those contributions.

The largest expense was for services from consultant group, Strategies 360, for “website registration/design and event space rental and event expenses.”

The report covers contributions and expenditures from when the group first registered on June 29 through July 9. The next financial report is due Aug. 13.
