Re: “Memories of Mom keep me company,” July 12 Woody Paige column.
Woody Paige has been writing for the Rocky Mountain News and Denver Post for some 41 years. I’ve been reading him all those years. Sunday’s article about his mom, Billie, has to be one of his finest. As Billie suggested, sometimes I just don’t get Woody’s sense of humor, but I read him anyway because he’s always interesting. Sunday’s column about his mom was the first time I finished reading with moist eyes, however.
Well done, Woody. I think Billie would be proud.
