A man died Saturday during a rafting trip on Clear Creek in Idaho Springs, the Idaho Springs police department reported.

The 35-year-old man fell backwards from the raft as it passed through a section of the river known as “Dizzy Lizzy,” the release said. He was pulled from the water shortly after he fell out, but was not breathing. CPR was administered unsuccessfully on the river bank, and the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

The incident marks the continuation of a on Colorado’s rivers.
