Chris and Mike Bocklet must have eaten theirWheaties on Sunday morning before the Denver Outlaws’ 20-14 Major League Lacrosse win over the Florida Launch.

The Bocklet brothers connection was electric throughout, with Chris scoring a career-high seven goals — three coming on assists from Mike.

Not to be outdone by his younger brother, Mike tallied a career-high five goals and five assists, tying the Outlaws’ franchise record for points with 10.

“Even though we aren’t in the playoffs, we wanted to win for our fans,” Chris said. “It’s a special feeling that we all had such great games.”

The third Bocklet brother, Matt, added an Outlaws game-high eight groundballs on defense.

After a rough first half, the Outlaws (6-7) scored the first three goals in the second half and were in control the rest of the way. The Outlaws host the New York Lizards in the team’s season finale Saturday.
