A man shot in Golden this morning was taken to a local hospital where he is in critical condition, according to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies were called at about 2 a.m. Monday to the 800 block of Kilmer Street on a report of a shooting, according to a sheriff’s office media release.
The victim’s name was not released.
An investigation is ongoing and information on a suspect, or a motive in the case, is unclear, the sheriff’s office said.
