One man was shot in the arm and taken to the hospital in critical condition Tuesday, Denver police said on its Twitter feed.
The department is investigating the shooting, which occurred in the area of East 17th Avenue and Gilpin Street. A one-block area surrounding the scene was closed, officials said at about 8:30 p.m..
