Staying energized for the near-midnight set of your favorite band — or even a group you’ve never heard of — requires sustenance that goes beyond the liquid kind.

The annual is upon us, running July 23-26. As usual, revelers will flood South Broadway, turning that stretch of Denver into a sea of the hip and famished.

Here are seven stops for festival-goers.

Walnut Room Pizzeria

Hot, thin-crust pizza and ice-cold beer, plus sandwiches and salads. The Walnut Room also functions as a music venue.

Hours: Sunday-Wednesday, 11 a.m.-midnight; Thursday-Saturday, 11 a.m.-2 a.m.

This pan-Latin restaurant serves up shareable plates for a more civilized respite from the fray, including terrific tacos made from such savory ingredients as goat barbacoa and bison carnitas. Veggie options, too.

Hours: Monday-Thursday, 4 p.m.-11 p.m. Friday, 4 p.m.-midnight. Saturday, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.; 4 p.m.-midnight. Sunday, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.; 4 p.m.-11 p.m.

Big burgers (try the cheeseburger with Hatch green chile), tasty shakes and cocktails, plus some creative small plates, including deviled eggs with bacon jam, make this room a fine spot for post- or between-show noshing. Bowling, darts, foosball and billiards for the energetic.

Hours: Monday- Friday: 11 a.m.-2 a.m. Saturday-Sunday, 8 a.m.-2 a.m.

Terrific Italian fare anchored by a wood-fired oven that turns out terrific pizzas, among other dishes. If it’s on the menu, don’t miss the farro salad.

Hours: Tuesday-Thursday, 4 p.m.-midnight; Friday-Saturday, 11:30 a.m.-midnight; Sunday, 11:30 a.m.-11 p.m.

Famous Pizza

Excellent, New York-style pie that is also available by the slice, making this a first-rate refueling stop between performances. Tasty job sandwiches, too.

Hours: Daily 10 a.m.-11 p.m.

Housed in a former garage in the Baker neighborhood, this restaurant and bar offers roadhouse-inspired fare and a wealth of adult beverages. Try the prosciutto-wrapped jalapeño poppers or the “Cigar,” a on the Cuban sandwich.

Hours: Daily from 11 a.m.-2 a.m.

Socorro’s Street Tacos

The name says it all: fresh tacos, with salsas that will slap your tongue awake. The fish taco is popular; ditto for the al pastor version. Tortas and burritos, too.

Hours: Monday-Wednesday 11 a.m.-8 p.m.; Thursday 11 a.m.-9 p.m.; Friday-Saturday 11 a.m.-11:30 p.m.; Sunday noon-8 p.m.
