A 35-year-old man is being held in Mesa County on suspicion of several charges, including human trafficking, after police say he took nude photos of a 17-year-old girl after giving her a narcotic.
Investigators say he also solicited the girl to have sex with a person for money.
Kevin DeWayne Renfro was arrested Friday by Grand Junction police on seven charges, of sexual exploitation of a child, human trafficking of a child and child prostitution.
Police say the teen girl told them Renfro offered to pay her in exchange for photographs for a website that he operates, as well.
Renfro is being held at the Mesa County jail in lieu of $100,000 bond, county records show.
