A man suspected of being the driver in a hit-and-run accident last month in Wheat Ridge was arrested Wednesday.
Wheat Ridge police said Jimmy Lee Perry , 52, was responsible for the incident which occurred on June 25 on Kipling Street at the Interstate 70 Service Road South.
Officers at the scene were told an unknown white truck with dual tires had struck a motorcyclist. The white truck continued north on Kipling without stopping.
Investigators developed probable cause and arrested Perry on charges of hit and run causing serious bodily injury. He is currently being held in the Jefferson County Detention Center.
