“I want to state this is not a marijuana movie,” Colorado film commissioner Donald Zuckerman told the commission.

The plot is based on a true story of a wealthy woman who loses her wealth in a Ponzi scheme and moves to what she thinks is a vineyard but it turns out to be a medical marijuana grow operation.

Melanie Griffith, who owns a home in the state, is slated to take the lead role.
