A gas leak in Littleton shut down Orchard Road between Broadway and Sherman for about two hours Friday morning, authorities said.

Firefighters and police officers were on scene after Xcel Energy reported around 9:17 a.m. that an underground gas line had broken.

The road was reopened around 11:15 a.m.
