Microsoft kicks off Windows 10 in Colorado with OneRepublic performance.

But if you were hoping to take Microsoft up on its offer to help you check your PC and install the new software, head to a local Microsoft store for today’s festivities. A Microsoft Store spokesperson tells me they are also offering demos, giveaways and refreshments!
AND for anyone who is a fan of the , the store inside the Park Meadows mall in Lone Tree is giving away tickets today beginning at 7 a.m. (The store regularly opens at 10 a.m.) OneRepublic will play for the crowds on 7 p.m. on Friday, July 31. The first 75 people in line will get meet-and-greet tickets with the band. The next 1,500 will receive two tickets for the concert. Details are on the .
“We’ll be fully staffed to assist our customers with learning about and upgrading to Windows 10,” said Rob Armour, the Lone Tree store’s manager.
Microsoft set up Windows 10 Experience Zones on level one, near center court. These will be there until August 9.
