• Because of a reporting error, a story that appeared Tuesday on Page 1A understated Xcel Energy’s progress in reducing carbon dioxide emissions. The state’s largest utility has since 2005 reduced emissions by 26 percent and is on track to reach a 35 percent reduction by 2020.
