Interview with Tiffany Puentes, owner
Q: How did you get involved in this business?
A: Born from my husband Ricardo’s passion to dress dapper, we began selling cufflinks online. Everything just snowballed from there, and before we knew it I was quitting my corporate job to run the online business. We were on the hunt for warehouse/office space when we stumbled upon the amazing retail spot in Brighton. The space required no buildout, and with the tin ceilings and paneling, it’s like the space was designed for us. After the birth of our daughter in February 2015, opening a brick-and-mortar store was a challenging feat, but the passion to grow our business and bring the latest in gentleman’s fashion trends to Brighton kept us going. We officially opened our doors in July and are beyond thrilled to be apart of the historic downtown community.
Q: What distinguishes you from other businesses in your category?
A: We are a lone wolf in our category. We offer a wide variety of lapel pins, cufflinks, tie clips and game-used merchandise that cannot be found anywhere else. Anyone who needs a great gift for the man in their life should check us out.
Q: What do you like best about your line of work?
A: It allows us the flexibility to raise our daughter, travel and be creative without all the restrictions of the corporate world.
Q: What is your business’ biggest challenge?
A: Not bringing the office home.
Q: Something people might be surprised to learn about you or your business:
A: We are a husband and wife team with a true passion for our business.
