Gridiron history was made on Aug. 1, and The Denver Post wasn’t there. No mention of the championship game played at Shea Stadium in Highlands Ranch was evident in newspapers.
You missed the 2015 championship game of the U.S. Semi-Pro Football league. The defending champion Crusaders from Joplin, Mo., and the Wenatchee, Wash., Rams put on a great show in spite of the temperatures. The final score was Rams 31, Crusaders 10. I have pictures.
