Getting your player ready...
The Nuggets finished another one of their desired summer tasks, securing the return of forward Darrell Arthur with a two-year deal, according to an NBA source. The second year is a player option.
Arthur was has been arguably the Nuggets’ best defender on the court, as well as a lockerroom leader. He averaged 6.6 points and 2.9 rebounds per game last season.
When he was on the court, the Nuggets allowed 98.7 points per 100 possessions. When he was off the court? That number ballooned to 107.98 points per 100 possessions.
Arthur arrived in Denver in 2013 from Memphis as part of a draft night trade for then-center Kosta Koufos.
