Stand-up superstar , a noted fan of of Denver’s nationally renowned Comedy Works, is eschewing a surprise drop-in set at that downtown haunt for a pair headlining nights on his latest Colorado visit.

The hastily announced shows, which have yet to show up on their respective venues’ websites, will take place on Sept. 16 at the in Colorado Springs and Sept. 17 at . Both were announced this week.

a year ago for a birthday set that left this reviewer underwhelmed, but fans of the former “Chappelle’s Show” star remain loyal, helping the 41-year-old sell out numerous, high-profile headlining sets at this summer’s prestigious in Montreal.

Tickets for both Colorado concerts are on sale at 10 a.m. Aug. 14 and cost $55-$70 via and , respectively.
