
1 Man egged on the street. On July 30, a man contacted Denver police after a suspect on a bike threw a dozen eggs at him while he was sitting in the 1600 block of Larimer Street. The victim said the suspect rode by and asked if he regularly hung out there. When the victim said he did, he was pelted with eggs. Police contacted the suspect who admitted to the crime and noted the victim’s group regularly urinates and defecates in the alley.
2 Brothers robbed. A man contacted Denver police on July 31 after he and his brother were robbed near the Ford Warren Library branch, 2825 High St. The victim said the suspect approached and asked to use the victim’s phone. The suspect then grabbed the victim’s backpack.
3 Man tries to fight all comers. On July 29, Denver police arrested a man for attempting to start fights with several people in the 2000 block of Larimer Street. The suspect was observed yelling at people and getting in their faces as they walked by.
4 Four women fight at Burger King. Denver police responded to a fight between four women Aug. 4 at Burger King, 7313 E. Colfax Ave. Two of the women were employees and still on scene. They said a woman who was on suspension from working there came in to see if she was on the schedule and immediately began fighting.
5 Cab driver robbed. On Aug. 1, a cab driver called Denver police after he was robbed by a suspect in the area of East 47th Avenue and Gaylord Street. The suspect was riding in the cab when he produced a gun and ordered the driver to stop and give him anything of value.
