
The Nuggets will get to see how Ty Lawson looks in his new uniform early in the 2015-16 NBA season — as in the first game.
Denver will travel to play the Houston Rockets and Lawson, who was traded by the Nuggets last month after six seasons in Denver, in its season opener Wednesday, Oct. 28.
The home opener will be two nights later against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
The NBA champion Golden State Warriors come to Denver twice — Nov. 22 and Jan. 13.
Fans of the Warriors and the NBA runner-up Cleveland Cavaliers will get numerous chances to see both teams play. Both are scheduled to play 25 games on national TV, including when they meet on Christmas.

The NBA’s release of its schedule Wednesday showed a more player-friendly model — a directive of commissioner Adam Silver.
Teams will be required to play four times in five nights an average of just once per team, although Denver does it twice.
Back-to-backs were also trimmed to an all-time low of less than 18 per team. Denver has 16.
The season begins with three games Oct. 27.
