A water main broke on East Princeton Avenue on Aug. 12, pouring ankle-deep, fast-moving water into the street.

The fire department was there in seconds, guiding traffic. Water pressure dropped to nil. Very soon, Denver Water Department staff were there turning off the water, stopping the torrent down the streets, identifying the problem and gathering the people and equipment they needed to begin fixing the issues.

They worked all night and, by morning, water pressure was restored and the men and equipment continued to work on repairing the road for traffic.

Impressive, responsive, professional work.

David Stevenson, Denver
