Longmont United Hospital has joined the Centura Health network.
The two entities said Friday their boards and state and federal regulators had OK’d the partnership that will integrate the hospital and its affiliated physician practice groups into the Centura system.
Longmont United will remain a nonprofit community hospital, Centura spokeswoman Jennifer Wills said. “It will continue delivering the same services and high-value care by the same providers that the community has come to know and trust.”
The hospital’s board two years ago began developing a long-range plan to respond to changes in health-care delivery.
