A child that fell from a third-story window in a northeast Colorado Springs neighborhood was taken to a local hospital as a precaution, police said.
The child fell around 11 a.m. Monday in the 5900 block of Vista Ridge Point and is considered to be in good condition, said Lt. Catherine Buckley, a police spokeswoman.
Police don’t suspect neglect after the child fell out of the window.
“It is not a criminal investigation,” Buckley said.
It is believed the lower portion of a screen window fell out, Buckley said, and that the 2-year-old girl landed in bushes.
