Elbert County deputies called to a home Sunday on a domestic violence report found two bodies inside the residence.

The service call was made at about 12:20 a.m. Sunday to the 3900 block of County Road 174, according to the Elbert County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies went inside on a welfare check and found the bodies of Donna Hunt, 40, and Rick Hunt, 64, the sheriff’s office said on its Facebook page.

The sheriff’s office and the Elbert County District Attorney’s Office is conducting an investigation into the deaths.

“There is no active threat to the community as a result of this incident,” the sheriff’s office said.
