1 Big kids now. Two men got in a fight during a recreation league soccer match played at the Westridge Recreation Center, 9650 Foothills Canyon Boulevard, Highlands Ranch, on Aug. 5. 2 Took the safe, too. A homeowner in the 10100 block of Sumac Run, Douglas County, reported a burglary on July 30 after he discovered a safe containing valuable documents was missing from the home. Silver coins and bars were also missing. The home has been for sale for a year, and real estate agents and potential buyers have had access while the homeowner was away.

3 ATV rip-off. A man reported Aug. 3 that he was defrauded of $1,900 when he tried to purchase an all-terrain vehicle on eBay. The seller disappeared and eBay said the listing was fake.
