Through Sept. 13. Artist Trine Bumiller’s exhibit “100 Paintings for 100 Years” has exactly the number of works its title implies. Yet, it still plays out like one intimate portrait of its subject matter, Rocky Mountain National Park. Bumiller spent summer 2014 as the park’s resident artist, observing its finest details, its sticks and stones, its rippling waters and pockets of snow. She captures it in her own language, some of it abstract, some representational. Her eye is keen, and her interpretation liberal — mixing real observations with sensory impressions. The work is full of surprises that feel 100 percent honest, including brilliant reds, golds and turquoises. It’s an achievement. 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays, McNichols Building, Civic Center. Free. 720-865-4220 or .
