A bear cub was tranquilized and removed from a Wheat Ridge neighborhood just north of Interstate 70 near Marshall Street Sunday morning.
Officers from the Colorado Parks and Wildlife Division tranquilized the animal and safely removed it from the area.
Arvada police helped Wheat Ridge police and animal control to contain the young bear.
