Eastbound Interstate 70 is now open between Genesee and Morrison after multiple crashes on Sunday evening prompted road closures, officials said.
Colorado State Patrol spokesman Trooper Josh Lewis said there are at least four vehicles including a semi-truck involved in a crash that closed the road.
One person was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries, and other parties suffered minor injuries, Lewis said.
Tow trucks were sent to the area between mile markers 254 and 259 at 7:30 p.m. to clear the crash.
Lewis did not have details yet on what caused the crash.
The westbound lanes of I-70 remained open in that area.
