FORT COLLINS, Colo. (AP) — The Fort Collins Police Department is looking for a group of vandals who damaged the construction site of the temple of the Church of Jesus of Latter-day Saints.
The Fort Collins Coloradoan reports (http://noconow.co/1LwZJP2 ) that the suspects damaged parts of the building and construction machinery at the site early Monday morning. Officials say once piece of machinery was driven into a structure and others were spray painted.
Officials say the vandalism may be connected to a string of church burglaries in July and earlier this month. They say they will not release details of evidence found at the scene at this time, and that the financial loss of the damage is unknown.
