A school bus got into a traffic accident in Highlands Ranch Thursday afternoon, according to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office.
The accident happened near the North Ridge Recreation Center on South Broadway, according to the sheriff’s office Twitter feed.
Thirty-nine students were on board and three complained of injuries, the sheriff’s office said.
Parents are reuniting with students at the St. Christ Lutheran Church, 8997 S. Broadway.
