An arrest of a Denver man accused of attempted sexual assault could lead to more victims, investigators said Friday.

A day after the arrest of 39-year-old Jeffrey Ball, who was booked into the Arapahoe County Detention Facility on charges of attempted sexual assault, unlawful sexual contact and indecent exposure, investigators believe there may be more victims, according to an Arapahoe County Sheriff news release.

The original case took place earlier in August when a 20-year-old victim reported that a man came into her place of work in the 9200 block of East Mineral Avenue, the release said.

She told investigators that the man introduced himself and left, but returned a short time saying that his car needed to be jumped, the sheriff’s office said.

When the victim agreed to help and drove him in her car to a covered parking garage, the release said that the man exposed himself and attempted to get the victim to perform sexual acts.

The victim drove back to her work place where the man exited her car, the release said.

With the help of video surveillance, investigators determined that the man was Ball and that he worked in the same area as the victim.

“Given the nature of the offense and how it was carried out, investigators believe there may be other victims,” the release said.

Anyone with information on the case is asked to contact Investigator John Turnridge at 720-874-4035.
