Police have cited a 51-year-old Denver man with two counts of careless driving after the semi-tractor trailer he was driving clipped the bottom of three bridges Thursday afternoon, triggering a massive traffic jam.
Michael Stollsteimer allegedly collided with the north- and south-bound North Speer Boulevard and the West 23rd Avenue bridges.
The load Stollsteimer was carrying was in his flatbed truck, the police report says.
The Kenworth truck, owned by Hillen Corporation of Commerce City, was found in a lot in Commerce City near Interstate 76 and East 77th Avenue.
