The Rapids are rolling after three consecutive wins, but if they plan to make it four in a row, they’ll more than likely have to do it without Kevin Doyle.

“I fly to Ireland in the morning around half 11, I get in Monday morning then train Monday,” Doyle said after the .

Doyle was called in to the Republic of Ireland’s national team for its Euro 2016 qualifiers against Gibraltar on Sept. 4 and Georgia on Sept. 7.

“I could maybe make it back for the Vancouver game, but it’s going to be very tight,” Doyle said. “I imagine I’ll probably be coming straight here and just getting ready for the game on Saturday, I’m not sure. We haven’t decided yet. I’ll speak to the manager about it and see what it’ll be.”

Friday’s match is set to be played in Faro, Portugal and Monday’s game is in Aviva Satdium in Dublin. The Rapids take on Vancouver Whitecaps FC in British Columbia on Sept. 9.

Doyle said it’s nice to head out for international duty with a little momentum after scoring in back-to-back games.

“The last international break before, just when I arrived here I spoke to the Irish manager and we agreed it’d be better for me to stay here and try and get fit and settled in to America,” Doyle said. “So then I wasn’t sure when this squad come about would he go ahead and pick me again or whatever, so it’s nice to be going there with a few goals, a few wins and us off the bottom of the table helps. And to be joining back up again, I love playing for my country so it’s nice to be involved.”

The Rapids could turn to rookie Dominique Badji at center forward, who was , and played about 30 minutes on Saturday. Argentine striker Luis Solignac has been nursing a hamstring injury.
