Denver’s medical examiner’s office has identified the 45-year-old man who police say died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound after being chased by officers earlier this month.
, of Denver, died after the Aug. 22 encounter with police which ended after Primm crashed his vehicle at Smith Road and Dahlia Street, according to investigators.
Police say the chase began after officers were told Primm was involved in a domestic dispute. According to investigators, they were told Primm was armed and making threats.
Primm’s death is under investigation.
