A man died Monday afternoon in a 70-foot fall in Manitou Springs, according to the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office.
The incident happened about 2:30 p.m. in a “steep sloped” area near Rainbow Falls, south of U.S. Highway 24, said Larry Borland, a sheriff’s spokesman.
The identity of the victim was not released.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
