One person is dead after a shooting early Saturday morning in Denver, police said.
Authorities responded to 20000 East Mitchell Place around 5 a.m. Saturday morning on reports of a shooting, said Denver police spokesman Eranda Piyasana.
One person died from gunshot wounds sustained in the shooting, Piyasana said.
Their identity has not been released at this time.
Police said the case is now a death investigation as they search for a suspect.
Piyasana said there was no suspect information available as of 7 a.m.
