A motorcyclist was killed late Monday morning in a crash, Denver police say.

The name, age and gender of the victim have not been released.

The accident happened at about 11:45 a.m. at East 6th Avenue and Columbine Street, said Sonny Jackson, Denver police spokesman.

The victim was pronounced dead at a hospital.

Police are investigating the circumstances that led to the accident.

in Denver late Sunday night in a collision with a car at South Sheridan Boulevard and West Kentucky Avenue, Jackson said. That person’s name has not been released.
