A man was shot in west Denver on Tuesday afternoon, police said.
Police responded to a report of a shooting at West 11th Avenue and Mariposa Street, according to a 2 p.m. tweet by the Denver Police Department.
The victim was taken to a local hospital with injuries that are not life-threatening, police said, and is in stable condition.
An investigation is ongoing, police did not release any information on a suspect or motive.
