1 No peace, no rest. Neighbors said a woman living in the 200 block of East Powers Avenue, Littleton, was screaming and cursing and wouldn’t stop late on Aug. 17. Police located her in a nearby parking lot. She said she was “mad at God,” and would stop. An hour later, police were called back due to more screaming. The woman was arrested.
2 Traffic stop busts thief. Police pulled over a man in the intersection of West Amherst Avenue and South Acoma Street in Englewood on Aug. 30. They found meth, drug paraphernalia and credit cards not belonging to him on his person.
3 Car spurs domestic dispute. A couple living in the 300 block of West Sterne Parkway, Littleton, fought over the use of their car on Aug. 9. The husband said he took his daughter to a soccer picnic, angering his wife. He then took her cellphone out of her hand during the argument. She then scratched his neck and hit him. He did not retaliate. She was arrested.
4 Bad news trespasser. Police went to the 600 block of Englewood Parkway on Aug. 23 on reports of a trespasser. A 20-year-old woman was found there carrying, meth, hallucinogenic mushrooms and illegal weapons. She was arrested.
5 Missing pistol. A man living in the 2400 block of West Ridge Road, Littleton , on Aug. 1 reported his pistol was missing. He thought the gun was just misplaced, but was moving out and couldn’t find it. On Aug. 2 the gun was turned in to Colorado Springs police by an ex-girlfriend of the owner’s friend. No one was charged in the theft for lack of evidence.
